Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta - Albuquerque, NM 61 degrees mostly sunny to 78 degrees and mostly sunny.

Our Pass

O dark thirty comes early for retired people. We were out the door at five thirty to catch a school bus to the balloon launch area southeast end of the field. Then walk two thirds of the way north and half way west to Q 8 on the field. It turns out the balloon we were assigned to did not need any help so we just wandered around and took a hundred and fifty four pictures during the morning.

On our Way

Here talk is of the "Albuquerque Box" the balloons can launch with a southerly breeze and the wind changes to a northerly flow later allowing the balloons to land hear the launch site.
