Holly Springs, NC - 77 degrees and mostly cloudy.
We left town headed for my sister Irene’s in Virginia Chris & John left earlier Bonnie and I left about twelve thirty and picked up our daughter Cindy in Cary then headed west. We drove into rain on Us 64 and on interstate seventy-seven and onto interstate eighty-one before it cleared. Chris & John drove into a Hail storm as they turned onto interstate eighty-one, no damage and they stopped on the road side for a while to wait out the storm.

Christiansburg, VA partly sunny 81 degrees after the rains this afternoon. After dinner we went to the Aquatic Center just the young ones went swimming, grandparents just watched. We are staying in a hotel there as Irene has her son Grey staying there with her as he and his wife Kathy are form Richmond, VA area (now).

Tonight we could have use the pool at the hotel but the water slide was important to the swimming event of the evening.
