Three Rivers, TX today delivering my tax work package but the person was not there as there was sickness in the family. But it is in and probably more work will be needed. Then to Pleasanton to shop for groceries “provisions” needed for being stationed for the gate assignment.

This afternoon pre trip packing up putting things away as the longer we stay put the more that needs to be stowed. Outside I kept things to a minimum laid out, less to put away besides we spent more time here at the RV park inside Buster. Our last eating out together for a while tonight.

Off to work we go, a trip to the gate this morning of one hundred five miles. We stopped in Big Wells to meet the coordinator and while there I put some diesel in Buster, not a great price, but I wanted to not be short encase if we use the generator. Sometimes I will need to run the generator and that uses diesel fuel. From there another eighteen miles to the gate. This site is a double gate guard setup, one at the paved road only takes plate numbers. We are in six hundred feet and the turn left around Buster and we also take that plus names.

Afternoon 71 Degrees, Wind ESE 7 mph, Humidity 27%, mostly sunny.     On arrival busy setting Buster to the site and checking trucks in and out. We relieved another couple who are going for medical, repair joints. We need to ensure trailer trucks swing wide and step back so the trailer does not hit us. This afternoon they were here to change the filter and oil in the electric generator. The is a fuel tank in the generator box just over one half full and will refill that in the morning from the tank on the back of the trailer.
