It is a taxing time gathering paper for the income tax return preparer. I used to prepare the tax return my self using turbot tax software. After we started the gate guarding I retired from this task and employed a professional to accomplish the task. For me money well spent. I ordered a shipment of our mail from the post office box and expect that later this week. There should be most of the documents needed in that shipment and I will order another in three weeks and that should complete the paper work needed for taxes.

Afternoon 44 Degrees, wind ESE 4, humidity 94%, cloudy and rain showers. Another winter day to stay inside Buster warm and dry. It seems like the weather is cycling from cool wet days to just warm enough dry to venture out and run our errands shaking any “cabin fever” that could develop from staying inside Buster keeping warm and dry.

Bonnie and I drove Tan Jan into San Antonio going to the “Quarry” shoping center, up scale with all the trendy shops along US 281. We had a late lunch and stopped at H E B on our way home.

Our mail arrived later today with enough paper worthwhile to start arranging our federal tax paper work and I will get right on that task, tomorrow. Earlier today another cool cloudy day that did not meet the weather forecast for partial sunshine and higher temperatures.

I spent part of the morning into the afternoon sorting thru the mail and stacking the tax paperwork into a pile. I also worked thru that “pile” of paperwork getting it to a manageable level.
This afternoon Bonnie and I went into Pleasanton for a few things and the traffic as crazy with re-paving of TX 97 (Oaklawn) in front of H E B grocery store and a few blocks west. We did work our way thru and went to Walmart but I came back another way to avoid that section and the traffic, but the traffic was not as bad as when we went thru that area, o well.
