There were three softball games for Ariana in Cary today. A high school travel ball team with this weekends play being a show case for college coaches. All the games are competed with different teams records of the games are kept but that is all, no trophies or who won the tournament. The play is all about the girl playing defense coaches seeing what they can do in game conditions. These games are played by time and end “finish the batter”. At least the games later in the day start almost on time.

Ariana’s team did win two of the three games. Most of the girls are “playing up” as the team is mostly younger girls. The game they lost the girls were playing the defense in their secondary position. For Ariana she plays short stop or second base but in this game she was catcher. Ariana is only going into the freshman class and will be a 2019 high school graduate. After Ariana’s games Bonnie and I came home to Buster while John and Ariana went to Zane’s base ball game that started about six.
