We had rain overnight but there is no mud as the yard is all blacktop. Just a little more work on Buster to go, we will complete today. I texted the gate coordinator we will go the Crystal City camp to wait for a gate and received the ok reply.
After we had breakfast we did our usual shopping for a few things and I got a call for a gate tomorrow north of Ladero. Now back to buster and get ready to roll. We got on the road about one and went for diesel fuel for Buster then interstate ten to interstate thirty-five south Ladero. We pulled up at the gate about four o’clock.
I understood it is the gate we were at in September, but no it is north of the interchange. We get Buster set and the coordinator showed up with the generator trailer about dark, we do not like the short daylight days of December. We start working in the morning.

This gate is three and a half miles north from the gate we had in September. There are two big differences, noise and parking. Yes the road (interstate thirty-five) and railroad tracks are almost as close but, there is no railroad crossing to blow the train horn for directly across from us. The truck traffic is up to speed after stopping at the Boarder Patrol check station so there is a noticeable lower noise level at this gate.
Sand delivery today as three sand silo’s were brought in last night.

I am coming down with “something” the mountain cedar has been high and I am taking my allergy tablet daily but I am going down coughing and runny nose.

I drug my self thru the day kind of warn out with all we have done this past week. I am expecting my wife to also come down with this crud. It is not fun working not feeling well, used to think nothing of working with a cold in our younger years. We are using a box of tissues a day now, but we did stock up ahead of time.

We are off today but I am “not into it”. Everything is closed tomorrow so we are eating out today and shopping today. We went to Longhorn steak house and I could not finish my meal. I eat about one-third and brought the rest home in a take out box. We did HEB shopping then over to Walmart, I waited in the Tan Jan and napped.

Well if we are not working we can not seem to stay home at Buster. Coming home yesterday after we drove past a truck stop, and talked about having breakfast there today. Wait a minute we did want to do that yesterday but got up too late for that to happen. Today it workrd pretty good and plenty of others having breakfast.
