Buster’s Gate, San Roman, TX - Tuesday, January 16, 2018
Morning 38 Degrees, Wind N at 15 to 25 Mph, Humidity 97%, cloudy rain.
Afternoon 32 Degrees, Wind N at 4 to 5 Mph, Humidity 51%, cloudy.

This morning is the high temperature for the day. The frack job compered today, to us we see a change in vehicles coming and going from the gate. The rain stopped after about a tenth of an inch by eleven this morning but it got and stayed colder.

For this cold weather I put water in Busters tank and disconnect and drain the water hose and filter. I have a small heater in the water bay to prevent freezing.

Along with the sand trucks not coming and going from the gate the refuel trucks departed before I went off shift. Diesel fuel to operate the pressure trucks is serviced by a fuel company and they keep two straight trucks on site to refuel these trucks and diesel electric generators. Every day at least one eight thousand gallon diesel trailer is delivered some days two. My wife was busy with the frack pressure trucks going out, they came in just before Christmas.

Buster’s Gate, San Roman, TX - Wednesday, January 17, 2018
Morning 31 Degrees, Wind NE at 3 to 5 Mph, Humidity 38%, cloudy.
Afternoon 36 Degrees, Wind E at 6 to 10 Mph, Humidity 30%, mostly cloudy.

Sand equipment departed three silo and two conveyer trailers. One “dribbled” on its way out. The sand is very fine reminding me of a lime chalk line.  Late this afternoon a coiled tubing convoy came in to the well site, they will be setting plugs in the well.

Buster’s Gate, San Roman, TX - Thursday, January 18, 2018
Morning 33 Degrees, Wind NNE at 2 to 4 Mph, Humidity 50%, mostly cloudy.
Afternoon 43 Degrees, Wind ESE at 3 to 6 Mph, Humidity 31%, mostly cloudy.

Slower day, with some of the traffic is the water supply crew removing the water main hose. They have trailers that roll the hose onto big reals, four dections per trailer about six hundred feet of hose per section. The frack involves sand, water chemicals and jell. All put in with high pressure.
