Tallahassee, Florida 72 degrees mostly sunny to partly cloudy while on the road. Lake City, Florida 97 degrees and partly sunny to 97 degrees and I have not mentioned humidity the past three days has been noticed with the most noticeable being today.

Buster’s drive today 246 miles with a small drink of diesel $ 4.179 per gallon thirty two cents per gallon more than Mississippi. Buster also changed to eastern time during the drive today so there will be some adjusting the sleep times. Silver Sally took is to Florida State University and we took some pictures there.

Hattiesburg, MS 73 degrees overcast. Buster started going south on US 49 after 10:30 AM and George failed to follow the direction of Miss Garmin and did not turn onto US 98 for Mobile, AL but continued on US 49 towards Gulfport, MS. We arrived at the Rainbow Plantation Summerdale, AL 34 extra miles down the road. 86 degrees and mostly sunny. There was a sprinkle on the windshield while driving south on US 49. The traffic driving east on interstate ten was much heavier than we have had on this trip. Bonnie and George went for seafood tonight on the gulf coast of Alabama.

West Monroe, LA 73 degrees partly sunny. Buster drove to Hattiesburg, Mississippi 88 degrees mostly sunny today 206 miles stopping in Pearl, MS for a big gulp drink (diesel) best price ($3.859) along our route. Traffic was light today and in Pearl we left interstate twenty and took US 49 southeast to Hattiesburg, MS.

Longview, TX 73 degrees cloudy overcast. Driving to West Monroe, LA today 88 degrees partly sunny. Buster traveled 159 miles today on interstate twenty. We got started at the crack of 11:00 AM today with traffic lighter than yesterday.

Arlington, Texas 73 degrees overcast to partly sunny.

Buster got on I 20 at the crack of 10:30 AM an earlier start than yesterday for our travel east. More Texas today for Busters stopping in Longview, TX 91 degrees and sunny and some more Texas driving tomorrow. 146 miles today and there are five hundred and sixty miles of the trip is Texas from state line to state line. There was more traffic out there today, most likely Good Friday travelers.

Abilene, Texas 55 degrees cloudy to fog.

Travel to Arlington, Texas today along interstate twenty, fog partly sunny otherwise no problems. It was overcast prior to departing the campground. Buster took a drink of diesel as we started our day of travel 173 miles today on I 20 east.

The satellite antenna had a time trying to acquire the signal as the campground employee stopped Buster with the antenna under a tree. I had to move Buster forward eight feet to get out from under the tree.

The Ranch Lakewood, New Mexico 61 degrees mostly cloudy (it burned off to mostly sunny),
no wind gusts and should be a good driving day. Just after 10:00 AM UPS arrived with my package and shortly after Buster took to the road.
Travel today is mostly on skinny roads (state roads) with a hundred miles on the interstate road in Texas.

Just before 5:00 PM local time (central daylight) we arrived west of Abilene, Texas 294 miles today. Mostly sunny to 80 degrees.

We leave here tomorrow headed east. Preparing outside storing the things staying here and packing under Buster.

We will not be leaving here before Tuesday as the prescriptions will not ship until Monday. Day of departure is the only changes as it still takes us at least seven day to travel across country.

to 89 degrees and mostly sunny windy awning in but the slide out.
Wind came out of the northwest today while usually it is out of the southwest to south.

Thursdays here at The Ranch it is MEWS, Men Eating Without Supervision. At eight thirty we car pool to a local restaurant for breakfast. Coffee and fellowship, telling "war stories" a great time for sharing Rving experiences.

The Ranch Lakewood, New Mexico 42 degrees mostly sunny, light wind again today, to 68 degrees with light winds we left the slides out and put out the window awning today.

Clean up for travel days this week with George outside and Bonnie inside. Bonnie was concentrating on the inside closet and under the bed, deleting the winter clothes for storage in the shed here in Lakewood, NM. One thing on the way to the shed was the old comforter Bonnie had it folded and wanted to roll it up and bag it. On the floor ready to be rolled Merry decided to sleep there.

The Ranch Lakewood, New Mexico 61 degrees mostly sunny, wind 20 MPH from the south southwest and gusting to 40 MPH. To 91 degrees mostly sunny.
The Ranch coop semi annual business meeting today 9:00 AM. After Happy Hour the men put away the (long tables) we use the 2 ½ X 5 foot tables for meetings and round tables for daily social time.
Only three Mexican train domino's players came tonight so we played individually tonight I won.

Between three and five AM the wind gusts were active this morning rattling the slide topper awnings and giving Buster a shove every now and then. Buster would be really rolling without the jacks down for stability. After this time the wind did die down to the five MPH range. Then there was more wind and gusts in the afternoon while I was Napping.

The Ranch Lakewood, New Mexico 39 degrees mostly sunny to 59 degrees mostly sunny. High wind over night we kept the slide in. Buster's slide went out after Bonnie got up this morning. Less wind and much cooler after a front moved thru.

This was a good day to stay in and work on the travel plan, alternet stops, and driving distances for a couple of days.

I did attend mens coffee and then there was a water committee meeting I attended.
We went to Roswell, NM today 125 mile round trip having lunch at Chilies and visiting the large Walmart and Albertsons there.

Breezy (16 mph) enough I went out at six o'clock and closed Buster's table window awning as the flapping and wind noise got to me. It was a hot day more wind with gusts that in the afternoon we brought in the table slide. The usual happy hour at four o'clock.

The Ranch Lakewood, New Mexico 61 degrees mostly sunny to 93 degrees mostly sunny. It was a hot day some breezes in the afternoon but it was hot and we turned on the air conditioners today.
Battery maintenance day, adding distilled water to the "house batteries" checking the cables and tightening the fasteners. In the afternoon there was a committee meeting. Theusual happy hour at four o'clock.

The Ranch Lakewood, New Mexico 54 degrees mostly sunny to 86 degrees mostly sunny. It was a hot day no breezes or wind. Predicted 97 for tomorrow.
I went to Artesia for propane gas I forgot to bring the cylinder with me yesterday also went to Walmart for Turbo Tax software. I got 2010 taxes done today. Bonnie and I went to Carlsbad after that to Albertsons for meat and cream soda, gas $ 3.459 a gallon for Silver Sally (better price in Carlsbad).

Doctor appointment this morning, reviewing the blood test taken last week and prescriptions. Cholesterol better, A1C lower (good), triglycerides much lower doctor is happy the new prescriptions are working as desired, Lovaza and Victoza. Weight is down sixteen pounds from December.
