The Ranch, Lakewood, New Mexico 51 degrees and mostly sunny to 90 degrees and partly sunny.

MEWS - (Men Eating Without Supervision) nine of us car-pooled to The Paddock restaurant about five miles east of Artesia, NM for breakfast at about nine o’clock.

This afternoon I helped to remove the old water stand pipe at a lot as the was not occupied today. Replacing these old water stand pipes is better done when the lot is not occupied this one especially as the pipe was coming up thru a concrete slab that we needed to lift out with the bucket loader on the tractor. After installing the new pipes and valves we keep the hole open for a day to insure there are no water leaks

Bonnie and I went to Happy hour at four o’clock and after dinner Mexican Train.
