Christiansburg, VA - 52 degrees and mostly sunny. Travel home day, Bonnie, Cindy and
 I were on the road at eight for the trip home to North Carolina. Virginia state troopers were also out in force on interstate eight-one and seventy-seven and not so much in North Carolina. We stopped at Cindy’s house then got some lunch and headed to Buster.

Holly Springs, NC -  89 degrees and mostly sunny, cooler then when we departed on Thursday.

I unloaded Tan Jan and Bonnie put things away in Buster getting settled back in. I was then able to watch the Daytona NASCAR race until it was rain shortened.

Holly Springs, NC  - 61 degrees and mostly sunny to 93 degrees and partly sunny.

Most of the day was recovery for me, but the electric power went out for a couple of hours again, the third time here this summer, story has it a transformer blew. I just got up from my nap and turned on the generator. I know when the power goes off because the c-pap machine is plugged into an interruption circuit. If we were really boondocking I would have it connected to the inverter circuit for battery power. Latter in the afternoon I rode the mower cutting the front grass, just helping out otherwise a rest day for me.

We all played tourist today and went to Natural bridge, VA. Then went to Irene’s in the afternoon and evening this July fourth weekend was a nice family visit.

Christiansburg, VA - 55 degrees and mostly sunny to 77 degrees and mostly sunny.

We all left the hotel and drove over to Irene and Larry’s lake house for the day with the kids having a fun time in the lake and Larry’s dog Jess too. We had a great fourth of July swimming and catching up with each other.

Holly Springs, NC - 77 degrees and mostly cloudy.

We left town headed for my sister Irene’s in Virginia Chris & John left earlier Bonnie and I left about twelve thirty and picked up our daughter Cindy in Cary then headed west. We drove into rain on Us 64 and on interstate seventy-seven and onto interstate eighty-one before it cleared. Chris & John drove into a Hail storm as they turned onto interstate eighty-one, no damage and they stopped on the road side for a while to wait out the storm.

Christiansburg, VA partly sunny 81 degrees after the rains this afternoon. After dinner we went to the Aquatic Center just the young ones went swimming, grandparents just watched. We are staying in a hotel there as Irene has her son Grey staying there with her as he and his wife Kathy are form Richmond, VA area (now).

A hot one today.

Well the painters were here before nine and were done by eleven-thirty. One bionic boy’s bedroom blue and one bathroom green. Speaking of the bionic boy after one week the crouches are sitting the day out and he is motoring without them, walking with the boot. Getting around af if the boot is only a small weight to overcome.

Red Wagon folded

There was a power outage just before three this afternoon for about an hour and three quarters, the air conditioners shut off differently. Twelve volts was fine, I opened the door to go and check circuit breakers and heard the neighbors generator running, I immediately turned and went back into Buster and turned on his generator and reviewed the power usage shedding (turning off and switching to gas what I could). At one point the generator load was thirty-nine amps.

Today I have the pictures of the “red wagon” I purchased Monday as the first picture shows the wagon folds into a cube with the cover strapped in place. There is a pocket in the cover that stores the four panel floor. With the cover off there is a strap around the four corners keeping the wagon folded when covered.

Recovery day, but we did drive over to Durham and there was a large Walmart supercenter that had a “red wagon” that I had been wanting to transport our “things” when going to events. It costs sixty dollars and folds into a cube for storing under Buster in a compartment. I had seen one in Garner, but the handle was broken, and that was the only one left on the shelf. I have not seen these wagons any other place or Walmart for that fact.

Holly Springs, NC - 75 degrees and partly cloudy to 92 degrees and partly sunny. The morning started with the partly cloudy that cried for a short while, just enough rain to wet everything then it was partly sunny.

Today was going to be a house painter sitting day but they were a no show with car trouble. I did go to Kroger for senior discount day. Later I went to LensCrafters as the right lend fell out for the second time in three days. I probably did not reinstall it correctly, but on Sunday there is no other option. They handled it quickly at no cost.
