Well it is that the pharmacy telephone call gets to the doctors office and dies there in the voice mail system. Because they tried to call the doctor again, and it went to voice mail, and the doctor is busy, but not too busy to add me into the morning appointment schedule. Ok I was not prepared for that, probably should have prepared with list of medications I am taking. Ok now got all prescriptions up dated to today after a doctors visit. On the way back to the pharmacy I stooped to give Tan Jan a wash and fill the gasoline tank ($1.829). Back at the pharmacy drop off window, they received the prescriptions, but there is a problem one the quantity was too large, and (one I was waiting to refill) they did not receive THE one. The one I have been trying to get since last Monday. The telephone voice mail hell again, the hell with that as it is only three miles to the doctors office. So it is a quick drive there the waiting room is empty as they are going on lunch. The office going on lunch I get express service and head back to the pharmacy. Understand I do not get to hand carry the prescriptions they are electronically transmitted to the pharmacy.

Rain showers today and “weather” moving in off the Gulf of Mexico for the weekend.

Vampire, well the unplanned doctors office visit, my doctor wants blood every visit. Not planning the visit I had my breakfast before going to the pharmacy and the doctor wants a fasting blood sample. Did not take long and stopped on the way back to Buster for milk and eggs, for breakfast.

We know we are back in Texas with the wind gusts.  

The motorhome parked next to Buster came in later yesterday afternoon also another one next to that one are traveling together and these are not workers.
Late in the morning I went to the pharmacy (not receiving any telephone call) to check on the last submitted prescription. No luck, maybe Monday. Basically I needed to light a fire under them, I brought this to them on Monday. I also know that the doctor has reduced hours on Friday, maybe in should have went into the pharmacy earlier?

Well I tracked down the mail I had sent, well maybe I should have done this on Thursday as the USPS site had it delivered then. I sent a text to the owners of the RV park looking for the mail “not with them”. Looking at the picture of the tracking number I “thought the address number was recorded incorrectly, no it was not (I was looking at the last two numbers of the road, not the number on the road) but I looked up the road for that box number and there was no such number. Then by chance I checked the correct box and there it was plain as day, I retrieved my package. The owner has not checked their mail since Wednesday I guess. Mystery resolved

Cleared into a nice day. I went into Pleasanton to transfer some prescriptions and get then refilled they took the information and said come back after two o’clock tomorrow.

Big job for the day and only half done, get prescriptions. I was told yesterday come in after two to pick up the four prescriptions I dropped off. As soon as I turned onto the road I got a call from the pharmacy (automated call) one prescriptions was ready. Well I thought that was odd as one was for my wife and three for me and only one ready, but then again maybe that was her call. There was no other call and after arriving at the counter I picked up two one for each of us. So tomorrow I will wait for the call before I go there again. Examining the refilled prescriptions in small print they were filled off site and delivered to the store.

Big job for the day and only half done, get prescriptions, wait a minute this is a rerun of Tuesday, actually it is worse than that. Going to the pickup window (without getting any telephone call) giving name and birthday, no nothing in the Q. Now this is the person I picked up the two prescriptions from on Tuesday, she had remembered me. Now having to tell her what medications I was looking to get resulted in passing me to the drop off window. Finding out that only two prescriptions were processed. So one was processed today while I waited and one still needed a call to the doctor to authorize a refill. So tomorrow it will be one hundred percent or zero percent.

We got going and continued west on interstate ten going ten thru Houston there was one spot there the traffic came to a stop for an accident but Buster was rolling again pretty quick. Buster took a drink of diesel fuel ($2.289) in Brookshire, TX. After getting back on the road our plan was for two hundred nineteen miles for today but further thought I decided to push onto Pleasanton.

Two hundred ninety four miles driving Buster today arriving at three-thirty. Traffic was heavy going into and leaving Houston with just one slow spot in town as one lane was closed for construction and an exit ramp also closed, vehicles slowing to use the closed exit. So this is slowing all lanes of traffic. Florida state Seminoles football, but NASCAR rained out in Charlotte, NC tonight.

NFL Football, NASCAR racing and napping, busy afternoon resting. I did finish painting the board for the air conditioner exhaust hose to duct heat our the window. I used rubberized paint to help with stopping the water getting to the wood. We need that air conditioner today with the ninety degree temperatures still here in south Texas.

We started later today going on eleven when Buster pulled out and started rolling west. Crossing the Mississippi River today and rolling into Beaumont, Texas. Not as much drama today only traffic stopping for an accident and clearing quickly. Another where a line if cars changed into the right lane to exit on a down slope and a posted fifteen mile an hour speed limit on the exit ramp because there is a sharp one hundred-eighty degree curve. Brought the right lane speed down to five miles per hour and no metal touched.

Buster rolled out of the sight before ten to connect Tan Jan to the tow bar. Driving on local roads to interstate ten west. I stopped Buster in Gulfport, Mississippi for a drink of diesel fuel before continuing on to.

On interstate ten in Mississippi there was a pickup truck pulling a car trailer with another pickup truck trying to pass Buster and Tan Jan. The road is cement and the shoulders on both sides black top (aged) rough from wear and those rumble carved in next to the road. Looking back in the mirror the combination started swinging side to side when the trailer with the truck on it started to cause the pulling truck to swing or the “tail waging the dog.” that “rig” end in the median luckily right side up (it did not roll over). I had moved Buster over to the right then added more speed to stay out of the way. The remainder of the trip was uneventful.

Today was a late start catching our breath from the early days this week. Buster pulled out of the site just after eleven today (eastern time) headed to get a drink of diesel fuel before heading west on interstate ten.
