The Escapees Ranch - Lakewood, NM 41 degrees’ and sunny to 69 degrees’ and sunny and high wind advisories. Happy Birthday Carole.
We had a busy day running to "town" in the morning Bonnie went to the Moose Lodge in Artesia with other ladies from The Ranch who serves lunch to seniors at the lodge the first Saturday of the month. The Ranch supplies "both servers and eaters" on these days along with others from the community. Many Escapees are members of the Moose Lodge we are not. I went to the Moose Lodge for Lunch, there is a donation container to help with the cost of food. From there to Walmart for supplies for a few days. I am having a problem in getting a pet food in Artesia for Merry our cat and will have to go to Roswell for pet food soon.
After happy hour at the ranch we went our separate ways again with Bonnie going to Artesia for a Birthday dinner, a church member and George going to Carlsbad Elks Lodge to serve dinner. The Elks Lodge was hosting a dinner evening for a local catholic school that is raising operations money. George went with Phil and Jean and Maryann. A lot of car pooling when traveling to functions in town.
We did not ride the train tonight. Mexican Train dominos', Art and Sherry, Don & Doris did. Girls against Boys, tonight girls win.
