The Escapees Ranch - Lakewood, NM 46 degrees’ and cloudy to 65 degrees’ and partly cloudy. "Weather" moved across New Mexico and we will have cooler and cloudy days thru the weekend.

Balloon burner working

This balloon landed in the field in front of Buster's parking spot in October. this one changed passengers and took off again. I took this shot just pointing the camera up into the balloon as the pilot was firing the burner.

The passenger exchange taking place

We went into Carlsbad today as i need to do research for a project here at The Ranch. While there I could see some places had rain as there were some puddles about. Before leaving there where some big "blackies" (clouds) were noticed in the sky mostly looking north and east. After returning to The Ranch there some puddles here also and they also had a wind blow thru.

Tonight it was leftover potluck dinner turkey, ham stuffing and gravy. Other vegetable are dishes supplied by the table attendees.
