Iron Horse RV Ranch - Yorktown, TX - Feb 12 - 13

Iron Horse RV Ranch - Yorktown, TX - Friday, February 12, 2016
Morning 54 Degrees, Wind SSW 3 & gusting to 10 Mph, Humidity 94%, fog mostly cloudy.
Afternoon 79 Degrees, Wind E variable & calm gusting to 4 Mph, Humidity 45%, mostly sunny.

This county, DeWitt, Texas seems very different than the other counties we gate guarded in the past. The ranches are more fields and a greater number of cattle grazing in the fields. Also noticed or not noticed are boarder patrol vehicles, as we have not seen one this year. We are enjoying being east of interstate thirty-seven with the more farm look. The water heater is still acting up where the flame goes out and the relight process starts again. I have done the trick of switching back to Busters internal tank allowing it to run about two minutes then switch back to the outside tank. We have not used this propane company before and I will try to do the exchange at a different company next time.

Inside gate the crane is up in the background

Iron Horse RV Ranch - Yorktown, TX - Saturday, February 13, 2016
Morning 56 Degrees, Wind variable & calm & gusting to 1 Mph, Humidity 96%, Fog.
Afternoon 74 Degrees, Wind SSE 8 & gusting to 14 Mph, Humidity 54%, Sunny.

That was a wet night starting before midnight. I was noticing the gate equipment becoming wet and as the night went on the gates them self's were dripping moisture on the road.

The water heater in Buster is working normal now, who knew. Another thought I had is the tank might have been over filled, not having enough space for the liquid to gas off, starving the appliance for fuel.

Typical Sand Truck
These four days I am at the inside gate, this well site has two gate guard stations with both maned twenty-four hours. The gates must be closed at all times that the guard is not there at the gate. The inside gate is very close to the work area with another mile and a half back out to the road gate that I was at last time.
