The Original Ranch, Lakewood, New Mexico 73 degrees and mostly sunny to 101 degrees and sunny. Started out mostly cloudy but cleared quickly, a front moved down and west overnight.

MEWS - (Men Eating Without Supervision) three of us car-pooled to The Paddock restaurant about five miles east of Artesia, NM. The population here at The Ranch is very low now in the summer. Richard and I went with Al the first time since July.

Bonnie and I went into Carlsbad for a late lunch and some shopping for meat at Albertsons.

At four o'clock Bonnie and I went to happy hour at the ranch house.
