Escapees Raccoon Valley Heiskell, TN 53 degrees and mostly cloudy to 57 degrees and partly cloudy. Yesterday when we arrives we saw and talked with Laney a member of the ranch she and her husband Loyce have family in the area.

Escapees Raccoon Valley Heiskell, TN 46 degrees and rainy to 52 degrees and clearing to mostly cloudy. Hanging tight inside Buster today, laying low.

Later in the day Bonnie and I traveled to Bristol, TN about a two hour drive to see Bristol Motor Speedway in lights (Christmas) rasing money for a children’s charity.

This is special driving on the drag strip service road and on the half mile oval track that is banked at thirty-six degrees. 

The whole tour takes about an hour to do, two tracks and winding thru the parking areas and under a grandstand at a crawl speed, giving the impression of being under water.

They bring you in at turn three and we went to the top, WOW it feels like you should slide or roll down to the bottom at that slow speed we were going. Bonnie asked me to move down and I did because I wanted down also.

The displays and lights were great and well presented. And a two hour drive back to Buster.
