The Original Ranch, Lakewood, NM - Ramp

Saturday, June 30, 2012
The Original Ranch, Lakewood, New Mexico 77 degrees (for a short time) and partly sunny to 104 degrees and sunny. Last night we went to Artesia Walmart for a replacement tower fan and snapped these sunset pictures on the way. Cloudcroft, NM where the temperature was 76 degrees and there was real rain. But Cloudcroft is at 8,650 foot elevation and eighty three miles west of Artesia. This morning while working on the ramp there were some rain drops from some scattered clouds. Earlier there was a rain shower southwest of The Ranch about ten miles away.

Richard, Mac, Greg and I finished the ramp entrance and started the handrail around the main portion of the deck before stopping for too much sun. Wally started the main water line installation from the pit in front to around the building. Sunday will be a day of rest. Then we need to assemble the insulation for the pipe as it comes up out of the ground and into the building.

Bonnie and I went to happy hour.
