The Original Ranch, Lakewood, NM - manifold

Wednesday, July 18, 2012
The Original Ranch, Lakewood, New Mexico 70 degrees (for a short time) and mostly sunny to 95 degrees and sunny.

Neil, Richard and Vern setup the drain Tee into the gray water tank, by drilling the holes thru the wall and panel. I went to Carlsbad Lowes for material for framing the doors and windows. I also picked up a tank fitting at a pipe store that will bring overflow water back into the building for the regular drain system. The state of New Mexico will only allow two hundred and fifty gallons of gray wash water per day spread over the ground.

At four o'clock Bonnie and I went to happy hour at the ranch house.

The Original Ranch, Lakewood, New Mexico 70 degrees (for a short time) and mostly sunny to 97 degrees and sunny.

Another failed doctors appointment, like Tuesday the doctor did not show up for work today, vacation season. Richard, Vern got started on the washing machine platform base for the washing machines to stand on. Bob installed the bathroom door today and will do the door and window trimming coming days.

Laying out the washing machine platform
When I arrived back from artesia, and taking a review of things I needed to go to Carlsbad Lowes for a adapter fitting on the grey water tank, wall trim and one more two by six needed to finish the washing machine platform.

Part of the four inch manifold
After lunch we worked the four inch drain manifold that will collect the used water from six washing machines and deliver it to the grey water tank. Cutting and fitting the pieces together to assemble a manifold in four inch is a different experience for me not working with that size material before.
