Busters Gate Jim Hogg County TX - Sept 14 - 15

Busters Gate Jim Hogg County TX - Wednesday, September 14, 2016
Morning 75 Degrees, Wind variable, calm to 1 Mph, Humidity 91%, mostly sunny.
Afternoon 97 Degrees, Wind NNW at 1 to 6 Mph, Humidity 41%, Scattered Clouds.

More of the Scattered Clouds are over Buster blocking the sunshine and cooling him off. There are rain showers in the area but not here at the gate.

We had workers here late last night and others back here early this morning. Fracking today and more people (pickup trucks) in for that operation.  This afternoon the Frak trucks were departing for other places so after a slow morning vehicle traffic picked up this afternoon. So all three afternoons have been busy this week. We are expecting to only be here two weeks, we well see if that turns out to be true, I think we may be here longer.

My wife was cleaning inside the microwave convection oven and the wave guide cover plate for the wave guide was crumbling (fiberglass). I got the microwave ovem part number and went on line looking for General Electric microwave ovens and found the parts breakdown and was able to order a replacement part $12.00 plus shipping. I am having it sent to our post office box and forwarded later with our next mail shipment.

Busters Gate Jim Hogg County TX - Thursday, September 15, 2016
Morning 75 Degrees, Wind variable, calm to 1 Mph, Humidity 93%, mostly sunny.
Afternoon 95 Degrees, Wind NE at 4 to 7 Mph, Humidity 48%, Scattered Clouds.

Slower day but I have been getting better signals from the sensors when vehicles are coming out from the well site. Other work is being done at the compressor station on site and “flow back” is continuing at the well.

A good rain after dinner for about twenty minutes after that the crew working at the compressor station came out before dark.
