Busters Gate Jim Hogg County TX - Sept 23 - 25

Busters Gate Jim Hogg County TX - Friday, September 23, 2016
Morning 76 Degrees, Wind N at 1 to 2 Mph, Humidity 90%, mostly sunny.
Afternoon 98 Degrees, Wind E at 2 to 12 Mph, Humidity 44%, Scattered Clouds.

Slow Friday to a slow weekend. The frak tanks remaining on site had liquid remaining in them and they need to be empty to transport off site as these tanks are not designed to move down the road with liquid inside them. There were two water tanker trucks working to remove that liquid. At the end of yesterday’s work I was told we will be done here at this gate Tuesday or Wednesday. I am expecting the crew in Monday to pickup the last of their equipment they have remaining on the well site.
Cattle grazing in front of Buster's left side

Cattle show again tonight about ten total slowly walking and grazing coming to Buster from the left they came close lingered eating and them did the unexpected as they returned back the same way they came. All of the other times they would return to the dirt road continuing behind Buster going to Busters right side and continuing up the fence line. This is the first time they turned at Buster’s left side and went back from where they came from.

Frak tanks moving out the gate

Water, Propane and oil tanker trucks, college football and NASCAR races on television to keep me busy. Our granddaughter’s softball team played a late game although she was not there she was visiting and interviewing at a college in South Carolina.

Busters Gate Jim Hogg County TX - Sunday, September 25, 2016
Morning 78 Degrees, Wind NE at 3 to 4 Mph, Humidity 88%, mostly sunny.
Afternoon 98 Degrees, Wind sw at 5 to 14 Mph, Humidity 44%, Scattered Clouds.

The last of the frak tanks (4) are removed today and our granddaughter played in four games two games back to back and a game brake then repeating the back to back games. These are “showcase” for college scouts and the “play” of the player is the important thing not the score of who won or lost. With that there was another NASCAR and pro football. It is also Sunday and going to town shopping again after my wife got up from her day sleep. Another small shopping list but there are always two important things for a shopping day, drinking water as we do not drink the water that they deliver to the generator trailer. We do have a filter we use on Busters incoming water but we do not drink that. And we need to dispose of our garbage. Gasoline for Tan Jan was $1.769 this week. When gas is less than $2.00 it seams cheep but I can rember gass in 1972 at $0.239 per gallon, now that was cheep.
